I think the Sonicare 9000 vibrates at a higher rate than the Sonicare 7000. 2. The brushes are widely available through Philips website as well as major retailers. 3. The toothbrush will prompt you to replace the brush head after 3 months. You can continue to use it for as long as you like. 4.a I just bought the Sonicare 9000 and thus cannot comment on this model's battery life. 4.b However, my Sonicare 7000 battery is still strong after a year or two of daily use. 4.c I keep the toothbrush plugged into the charger base while not in use. 4.d In general, my experience with rechargeable batteries has been outstanding.
