“Performance wise is this better compared to the cheaper options that Phillips offered? I don't have any desire to use an app. I just wonder if the the cleaning power is the same? There are so many options and it's overwhelming. Just want a good clean.”

Hello! The Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige (HX9990/12) offers our most advanced brushing technology, including SenseIQ, which automatically adjusts brushing intensity based on how you brush. In terms of cleaning power, our Sonicare models all use proven sonic technology to deliver an excellent clean. If you're not interested in using the app, you'll still get outstanding cleaning performance from the 9900 Prestige, but many of its personalized coaching features are app-based. If your main goal is simply a great clean, several of our more affordable Sonicare models also provide excellent plaque removal and gum care.
