• Yes. Connections are simple. Plug the RCA cable to the brown input on the back of your stereo. Ground the black wire. Connect red wire to a power source. If you connect the violet/white wire coming out of yourAVH-1500 to a wire that powers your reverse lights, the screen will automatically switch to the back-up camera when you put the car in reverse. Whether it is a manual or automatic transmission, the connections are the same.
