“I installed this as a backup cam. Works great! Can it be configured as backup cam and a rear camera while driving forward so I can see my trailer? My Pioneer head unit can accommodate but It doesn’t seem like it can be to me. Needs a second power input”

If you power via accessory power it would always have power and you could switch to camera view to see the trailer, even when not in reverse. Not an expert but seems like it could work.
