The resolution games run at is unrelated to the storage medium. That's only relevant for movies in the actual Blu Ray standard. 

Also while the Pro is a LOT more powerful than the original PS4 (at least 2x the GPU, and the CPU, GPU, and RAM are all clocked faster too), it probably won't have any 4K games, or at least not many. From what I've read, somewhere in the 2500ish range may be common. (Though of course you have to have a 4K TV to get the higher resolution.) Developers are free to use the extra power however they want though. They can spend it on higher resolutions, more graphical detail, more physics, whatever, on a game by game basis.

The PS4 PRO will have native 4k games, but not all of them will be native 4k. Some will be unconverted from 1800p to 4k.

Games don't have to be in 4k Blu ray to run in 4k.

The games run in 4k and if they are old games the Sony has updated the system with a boost mode for older games to be play at a 4k level as well and for the 4k blu ray part , you have Netflix and other apps that will play movies and shows in 4k on system which you will need a 4k TV for the system to to play back in 4k , Xbox is far behind , ps4 is the winner !

its ok not to have 4k bluray player on ps4 pro if u have a 4k tv the pro will upscale all games and movies to 4k. if u dont games and movies will look sharper and run better on 1080p tvs. so dont worry its ok

Because it's in the software, disk is just a means to store the software. Just like you can stream 4k Netflix on ps4pro without a disk. A blu ray disk is still basically the same as a dvd, only it holds lot more data. Or how you don't need a 4k hard drive to play 4k games on the pc.

The Ps4 Pro is NOT a True 4k gaming machine. Its resolution will be 1080 native and upconvert to 4k. The Ps4 Pro will stream 4k movies/video only in True Native 4k. But so will a little $59 Mi Android box and save you loads of power in the process. It just makes no sense to use a 300watt Gaming machine to stream hours of video. Plus the PS4 Pro will have a loud fan noise with it being overclocked. And Sony has copy right protection Cena via to block copied or downloaded videos.
