As of this moment no, no 4k bluray player. Will support 4k resolutions and 4k games though. Also all PS4's will be getting HDR compatibility, old and new.

its not i can see how everyone is upset it makes sense i have the samsung 4k blu-ray player so im not to upset about it just dont buy it then i already pre-ordered it.

Its not as big of a deal as you think. Statisitics show that streaming has become a bigger deal when it comes to movies and tv. They said they will be having Netflix and a new youtube 4k channel at launch on top of their 4k ultra app on sony tvs. Sony just decided to take the streaming route which is a bigger chunk of margin compared to those 4k bluray disks.
