“PS4 games will be playable on the PS5 with an external hard drive. Any idea if PS4 games downloaded from the PS plus store will be playable thru the HDD on the PS5? Hoping to save space on the SSD.”

95% of games from ps4 can play on ps5.....it's one of thier major selling points
