It was the massive traffic to the website. It was not sold out. You had to stay with it, and keep trying.

Because they either sold out instantly or because they shouldnt have let people preorder it today even though it is today. So they sold out instantly

I tried this since 7:3@ yesterday when I received the email on the dot and it wouldn’t let me. They are sorry as crap now everywhere is sold out. Thanks a lot Best Buy

Traffic cleared up around 11:30 PM PST and people were able to check out. I jumped on the site, added the PS5, games and controllers and was checked out in five minutes.
