i Use a flash drive to save all of my files. Buy a 1 T (terrabite) external hard drive to backup both your computer programs and your files weekly. Before you do a total backup of everything you need to install a Virus protection program. AVG Free is good. Set it up to do weekly or twice weekly virus scans. Don't open any emails or attachments from anyone you do not know!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't go wrong either way with the purchase of a flash drive or an external hard drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This flash drive should work well for you. Backing up your data should be easy just connect it and over your info over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on how much you have to backup, if under 32 GB go with the cheaper flash drive route. Or buy a 64 or 128 GB flash drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For a "Recovery drive," a thumb drive is adequate. For a backup ... get a spinner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you use to flash drive you can run a virus check from your home computer/laptop on it to make sure virus is not in any of the files. Safest route to go to check what you want to keep and out back on your 360. But that is my opinion to protect your 360.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on how many files you need to copy. A flash drive that is 128G holds quite a bit! Check the properties on the folders you want to copy to see how large a flash drive you need. Flash drive is fine for temporary storage. You may want a portable hard drive for long term or very large back up needs. Many user friendly varieties out there. I use one by Click Free, my sister likes hers by Seagate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used PNY flash drives for a while to back up my laptop's hard drive. If you don't have an inordinate amount of stuff to back up I would recommend a flash drive, especially since it's so handy and portable. I just bought and posted a review of the PNY USB 64GB Flash Drive (Blue/White). Hope this helps.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would purchase a hard drive... the flash drive is more as portability drive. but if you are in need to back up your data on your HP the hard drive now have a lot more space (I have a 2TB)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely flash drives...they are portable and can be plugged in to anyone else's computer if you are sharing ideas.
