Any drive can be used inside of a desktop as long as it has a sata power and sata data cable, which this does. It only needs a mounting bracket if there are not any 2.5" mounting holes in your case. Most Harddrive sleds have 2.5" mounting holes, but I would double check to be sure. If not, you can always but a 2.5" to 2.5" drive adapter. +
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drive comes with a double-stick pad to help secure it inside the computer. It also has the screw holes a laptop drive has......but I have used these A LOT as the boot drive in desktops. Most retail cases these days, you will find, have special adapters or slots for a drive this size.......but sans that you should still have no problem. I build a lot of custom systems. You should have no problem using this drive. AND I prefer the PNY drives to samsung and to Western Digital. Enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Either. Just may need an adapter since this ssd is smaller. I have put one in an iMAC and a laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it can be used in desk top if you have a old hd its way faster
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can work in either. You just may need a laptop Hard drive bracket, but if you're lazy it can just freely sit anywhere in the PC case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can be installed in a desktop with a plastic mount adapter. SATA connections are the same for SSD's and HDD's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use it in either platform. It makes no difference if it is a desktop or laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use it in a desktop but you will need an adapter/cable.
