“I cant get the collar off of this product. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?”

• You're not doing anything wrong. It is a good quality USB drive (electronically) but the housing (sliding cover) could use improvement. There is a detent that is supposed to keep it in either the closed or open position. That detent is too hard to get by. I found that squeezing it by the thin ends of the housing and then pushing it up or down can help to get the cap past that detent. Once I got mine to move I repeatedly opened and closed it (like 50 times) to try to wear that detent in. It didn't help. They just designed the detent wrong.
