I have not noticed being slower. I had to format my flash drive before using it. I was able to transfer lots of MP3s from my laptop. It took me about 10 minutes.

States 10x faster than USB 2.0 (this assumes you have it connected to USB 3.0 device - otherwise will run at 2.0 speed). States Turbo Attache 4. Has 4K Ultra HD Video labeled on the package. Is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. It has a nice pull back/reveal USB plug rather than a cap which will get lost.
