These are good to boost speed for some computers; If you have an SSD or Opteron drive space on your computer, you might not see the greatest speed increase in the world. If you have a SCSI drive on your computer, you might want to go for an SSD. Boosting RAM on your computer or upgrading the video card can also have an immense impact upon speed. If you can't do that, then you want to make sure that your computer has a USB 3.0 port free and an operating system that supports ready boost.

My computer (a WINDOWS) lets me use a larger storage USB to help boost the speed of my computer. I use a 256gb 3.0 Sandisk USB that I purchased at Best Buy for this purpose. It works great.
