• A:Answer The cover is not intended to be "removed". It just slides back to expose the USB connector. When not in use, the cover slides back and snaps into position to protect the connector. Just push the two pieces toward each other to slide the cover back.

Smaller 16gb USB 3.0 flash memory modules work where the new 64gb flash drive is not recognized. Tried formatting the flash drive -- no luck. Tried 3 different windows 7 computers. Also tried it on an ASUS F3Sseries laptop, same problem. Probably is a simple problem I cannot solve. Thankyou.

• A:Answer It sounds like you may have a defective drive. I have had this happen before and had to get a replacement. Especially with it happening on different computers I'd say it's a device issue and not a windows issue.

• A:Answer These are not encrypted or security drives. You'll need an encryption app to do it. If you use Bitlocker, then you can setup Bitlocker To Go on the drive, but that requires the Professional version of Windows to do that. There are several good and free encryption tools that will encrypt the thumb drive. You can also save the files as a password protected zip file in a pinch.

If that's so, then, for a Windows based computer, you need to do the following steps: ✔ insert the flash drive in the computer ✔ Go to the folder where your files are ✔ select the files you want to copy ✔ right click & choose "Send to.....(your drive name) ✔ windows will copy files to your drive If you're looking to download from browser to your flash drive, Then you need to adjust browser's download location.
