Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I also have a MacBook Air. I recommend G-Drive hard drives for the external hard drive (1TB air 2TB) as a great time machine back up drive. I have 2 myself, one for backups; one for personal pics/vids. These are flash drives, it’s good for documents, photos & some music. Not your whole life ;)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may, but depends on the size of the MacBook Air’s storage capacity. I recommend twice the storage of the computers hard drive. Like 512GB on computer would use 1TB backup drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.in my opinion, you are better off purchasing an external hard drive. 64GB is not a lot space for a time machine backup, especially as incremental backups are added to the drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not. I use mine just for school.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would depend on the size of the hard drive in your MacBook Air and how much space you have filled up on it. This is easily checked by going to Finder > Go > Computer and right clicking on Macintosh HD. The drop down will appear and from there simply click on Get Info. This will provide you with how much space you are using. That said, if you are only worried about your data and not the system files you can limit what you time machine by going to System Preferences > Time Machine and open up options. This will allow you to exclude those files / folders you don't want to back up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a 30 go drive, so it should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, not unless the internal drive of your Macbook Air is 32 GB or less. In general, a Time Machine drive should be at least twice as large as your internal drive.
