This is 1 4gb module so you would need two to make 8 gb. Double check the back of your laptop to make sure you have 2 slots available. If yes, then you would be able to install them next to each other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will be fine. I put 2 of these 1333 mhz in my 2010 MacBook Pro. Works great, simple to install. My 2010 take 1067mhz, but the higher speed works great, so if that is the case for you depending on what year, the 1333 is the way to go.
