• Games like this, breath of the wild and tears of the Kingdom actually have both version on the Switch 2 Cartridge. So if you have a regular switch it'll work.

• the switch 2 edition works on both systems, there's a blurb on the bottom of the case

• There is a switch 1 cartridge (this is not it). I believe the new legend of zelda switch 2 cartridge works on switch 1 so there is a chance that this version might
