its a sudo remake of Pokemon Yellow, the events of Pokemon yellow take place here , this games follows the Pokemon anime story just like original Yellow but it does have some differences overall its a good game.

Kind of. The story is a little different, but more or less the same. You start of as a new trainer and basically go through everything you did in red, blue, and yellow. I'd say it's more like yellow. I definitely recommend watching a review on YouTube if you're interested. Hope this helps

Yes, this is a Gen 1 remake basically. The mechanics are a little different than most pokemon games but this takes place in Kanto.
