Both versions are essentially the same with slight differences. Some Pokemon are exclusive to each game, the professor who gives you your starter Pokemon is different in each game, and the legendary Pokemon you get in each game is the one shown on the box. Other than that, the games are exactly the same. I'd recommend looking at the cover art for Scarlet and Violet and just picking whichever one you think has the cooler legendary Pokemon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it's the same game, the only differences are the legendaries and the version exclusives, which you can just google at this point
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on what you’re looking for. There are minor differences between the two games, mainly ranging in colors, a few version exclusive Pokémon, and the professor. If you want a more futuristic vibe with a purple color palette in parts, go with violet. If you like a more flintstoney vibe with a red color palette, go with scarlet. Even if you don’t buy the other game, you’ll be able to trade for the version exclusive Pokémon with friends or with strangers.
