• I think there is a setting for it, but normally, no. I have to mute the speakers as the commercials rock the house walls!

• It has a ‘voice adjust’ setting that is supposed to lower voices. It has 3 settings (low, mid, and high). I’m not sure it works as well as it’s supposed to.
