Can volume be controlled by cable box remote? null

The answer is No...according to Polk Audio support

Our cable box doesn't control it, have to use the remote that came with it.

Yes there is a sync feature and then you only need to use your cable remote.

This model does not appear to have a sync feature nor does the documentation make any mention of syncing this to your tv/cable box remove.

Can be controlled by Charter's remote but all functions are not workable. The remote for Sigm1 works best

No you must use the soundbar remote to adjust volume.

I was able to get my DirecTV remote to control volume, but that remote did not control power. So either keep the Polk remote close or get up and turn on the sound bar manually each time you start it up...
