• I have the same problem. I have the genie remote though, RC73. I tried everything and finally called Polk to find out what to do. They told me it will not pair with DirecTV genie remotes. I wasted my money. Looking for new soundbars now

• I have a DirecTV remote and it works fine. Go into settings on DirecTV remote and go to remote setup and select Polk. Worked on signal 1 and 2.

• If you don't have the soundboard can you actually hook these subwoofer up to your TV or your phone or anything
