Yes. This soundbar works with Sony, Samsung, LG and some other major manufacturers remotes right out of the box. So you dont need the polk remote most of the time, unless you want to change equalizer settings or other special settings not on your TV remote. . In other words, your existing TV remote will probably control the volume on this soundbar so you dont have to shuffle between multiple remotes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Sony X930D and through ARC, I could use the Polk, Sony Remote or Google Home to control the volume. I never set it up for the 4K pass through, but I think that is always on HDMI 4 when you do and you use the Polk remote to change the signal sent by the Soundbar to the TV. Hopefully this helps.
