A:AnswerWe Have existing prewired speakers also and I replaced it with the Polk and it covered perfectly and the grill hides everything and is flush to the ceiling. Even though I have Jamo on one side and the Polk on the other, unless you really pay attention you don't even Notice it. Sound is great.
A:AnswerI would highly recommend a speaker that is rated for moisture and is a single stereo speaker. Single stereo speakers (SST or DT) are capable of delivering both the right and left channel of audio out of a single unit. This will be necessary to hear audio correctly if you do not have an amplifier that is capable of mono-summing a stereo source. You will want to run a 4 conductor speaker wire to a SST as opposed to a single 2 conductor wire. I hope this helps!
A:Answermost tweeter move @ different variations, most options can be had by moving the whole speaker before tighten down, then aiming the tweeter where you want it.
A:AnswerI called Polk to find out. The VT60 has a slightly smaller tweeter than the V60, which actually helps widen the dispersion of the tweeter. Other than that they are the same.
