I can't answer it because I don't have a TV but use it with my iPhone Bluetooth. Each time I leave and return I need to restart the speaker and reconnect to Bluetooth. I suspect that it is a matter of verifying the speaker needing to be connected to proper source. I hope you enjoy the sound produced as much as I enjoy mine. It is really great for my apartment size.
