QuestionAGAIN, The Sub and SoundBar refuse to connect after a brief period of not in use. Does anyone out there have a one time solution to sync the Sub and bar that really works? It seems to be a huge Issue with this product, and no, I can not return it.

- Answer Same issues here probably gonna have to take that loss. Best Buy or Polk audio don’t care they’ve made their money. I’m done with both of them. It’s a piece of junk

QuestionI plugged the optical plug from the TV to the Magnifi Mini and I got no sound at all. It worked when I unplugged it from the TV and plugged it into my cable box. However, I my blu-ray player won't play through the sound bar. What can I do about this?

- Answer make sure your TV has audio pass through and that you've set the "audio out" on your TV to optical

- Answer Yes you can. In fact if you get a new Samsung TV with the bluetooth remote, it automatically control the sound bar as if it was part of the TV.

- Answer It took me 21/2 hours and a metal nail file plus a pair of needle nose pliers but I finally got it off. Needless to say I will never put back on !!!!

QuestionHi. I have 2 problems. When I use the hdmi arc connection the speaker is dead. No sound at all, but if I use the optical cable it works fine What do I need to do to solve this. And how do I get the chromecast to work. Does it need the hdmi cable?

- Answer It has an auto on festure so it will switch on with tv or an inout signal. It will even switch back on if you put it on standby. I just press mute button to stop sound. It us bit annoying.

- Answer Yes you can use it just connecting the Tv or Bluetooth, you don’t need internet for that, and the Wireless Sub means that they are connected each other in a “no wires” small range, and they are connected each other by default, just plug them into the electricity and that’s it! No internet need it, I hope it helps!

QuestionI recently bought an LG SJ9 Soundbar. I have a Visio TV about 4 years old. I have no receiver and am using the soundbar, alone, with only the TV. My question is how this works with ATMOS sound? The sound is good, but not like surround sound.

- Answer As far as this producing "terrible" surround sound, that is a very subjective thing to say. Surround sound is not an exact science mainly because most of the sounds from movies are added in after scenes are shot. Maybe concerts with Dolby are different story but surround setup is still usually different for every person. In my opinion, this soundbar does a better job than many. It is made specifically to enhance dialogue in a smallish room setting while still giving a virtual surround experience. This bar does NOT do ATMOS, only plain old 5.1 Dolby Digital. And you have to feed it exactly Dolby Digital 5.1 or the surround virtualization will not work properly.

QuestionHow do i get the green light (dolby) on? I have connect it with the optical cable... the only light it shows is the Orange led light... how can i turn this on?

- Answer Hello, yes the orange LED indicates power and green LED when the sound bar is receiving a Dolby Digital signal. I recommend checking the TV audio out settings. In the TV settings, turn on Dolby Digital out. The Digital out in the set top box or streaming device will also need to be turned on. QuestionI have had the sound bar and sub woofer for about two years, now all of a sudden there is no sound coming out of it the lights are still active but nothing happens. What’s going on?

- Answer This is similar to the same issues my parents are having. See my review. As for a fix, all I’ve ever been able to do to fix the problems is disconnect ALL power from it and leave it disconnected for 2-3 minutes. That works majority of the time. I would never purchase Polk Audio products again because of the mess this one has put us through.

- Answer Hello and thank you for your question. The two sound bars share the same IR codes. This may not be an issue if they are placed on opposite wall. The wireless subwoofers are paired at the factory and will not be an issue.

- Answer The 3.5mm will be analog audio. No digital audio signal will be passed through using this method. If possible, run HDMI from your box to the TV and then HDMI ARC to the MagniFi mini sound bar. Or HDMI from the box to the TV, then optical cable from the TV to the MagniFi Mini sound bar.

QuestionWent to turn on our TV this morning and our sound bar was making a constant ticking noise. We unplugged it and plugged it back in and still had the clicking noise. Any suggestions on what could be causing this problem.

- Answer I noticed that mine did the same thing. It was coming from the subwoofer. I adjusted the bass level and it went away.

QuestionDo you need a Google Chromcast to use this sound bar as I keep seeing it mentioned? We have AppleTV for streaming and also ATT U-verse so wondering if I’ll have problems? Need something small to set on shelf under TV, have Sony Bravia 4K, 1-2 yrs old.

- Answer The unit works directly with Google Home to connect to the internet and stream from Google music. It is not required. I do not use Google music but I did download the Google Home app and connected the speaker to the internet for the sole purpose of making sure it's firmware was up to date. It also has Bluetooth capability and you can use it to connect your iPhone or other devices.

- Answer Do you mean extra speakers? No you don't and you can't really add speakers unless your going to use a receiver. This puts out virtual surround sound by using the 6 speakers that are in the main unit. It's basically meant to be experienced the way it is out of the box (after setup, of course).
