Q: QuestionHow will this soundbar handle dts? Will we still hear 5.1 or 2.1? I dont have blu-ray player or set-top-box or AV receiver. I watch Netflix (which is Dolby) and some downloaded content (has DTS) via Plex. My TV can decode dolby and dts.

• A:Answer yes it can handle DTS and Dolby....but be ready, you might have lip-sync issues I ended up hooking mine up to the analog headphone out of my tv to correct it.....only stereo, not dolby or dts, but sounds better than on board tv speakers

• A:Answer I don't think soundbars are designed to do that. The audio would come out at 2.1 rather than 3.1 or 3.2.1, which is what I am assuming you are aiming for? You'd be better off just buying a standalone center speaker, which for the price of this soundbar, you'd be able to get a very nice one.

• A:Answer As long as the sound output oprtions from your cable box matches one of the inputs for this set, then you are good to go! My guess is that as long as your box is "newer" (from the last 5 years or so) then you will have no problems.

• A:Answer I can't answer it because I don't have a TV but use it with my iPhone Bluetooth. Each time I leave and return I need to restart the speaker and reconnect to Bluetooth. I suspect that it is a matter of verifying the speaker needing to be connected to proper source. I hope you enjoy the sound produced as much as I enjoy mine. It is really great for my apartment size.
