Can I mount this on a tv mount?
Answered by JBL SupportThanks for your question. Our JBL Cinema Soundbar 570 includes its own dedicated wall-mounting kit. If you wish to attach it directly to an existing TV mount, it may require a third-party adapter bracket or some custom modification.
Does this take the place of the TV speakers- in other words, will the TV speakers turn off while the soundbar is on? When the TV turns on, does the sound bar automatically turn on with it? Can the volume be controlled through the TV remote?

Generally, when you connect a soundbar, like the JBL Cinema SB570, to your TV using an HDMI cable through the ARC/eARC ports, the TV will automatically recognize it as the default audio output device. If your TV also has CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) enabled, you can use a single remote (either the TV's or the soundbar's) to control both devices' power and volume.
How close does the subwoofer have to be to the soundbar? I have them spaced apart by about 10 feet and I have been having some connectivity issues where the subwoofer cuts out.

Connectivity between subwoofer and soundbar performs well within a 30-foot range, but walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede this. If you experience dropouts within 10 feet, there may be interference. To resolve the issue, ensure it is within 10 feet of your device with a clear line of sight (no obstacles). We can also initiate a reset procedure. Ensure the soundbar is powered on, then press and hold the Power and Source buttons on the soundbar at the same time for more than 10 seconds. An amber/orange light will show to determine that the reset is complete. Please contact our customer support for further assistance.
