Q: What is the life expectancy of this product?
A: Fedz, thank you for your question about the life expectancy of our Rocketfish 7-Outlet/1-USB/1-USB-C 2160 Joules Surge Protector Strip. The lifespan of a surge protector can vary based on several factors, including the frequency and intensity of power surges it experiences. While there's no precise expiration date, we generally recommend replacing surge protectors every 3 to 5 years. This is because the surge protection components can degrade over time, especially after absorbing multiple surges, even if the unit appears to be functioning normally. Regular replacement ensures you maintain optimal protection for your valuable electronics. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask! - Mae | Rocketfish Support
A: Hi DavidH! No, the Rocketfish™ 7-Outlet/1-USB/1-USB-C 2160 Joules Surge Protector Strip is not designed to work directly with Peru's 220V power supply. This surge protector has a nominal input voltage of 120 volts. Plugging it into a 220V outlet in Peru would likely damage the surge protector and any devices connected to it |Angelica| Rocketfish Products|
Q: Does the surge protector have an on/off button? (Not seeing one in the images.)
A: Yes power switch is on the left side if you are reading the "protected" light (near the end where the cord enters). It is recessed so that it can't accidentally be turned off. But it might be less accessible if you were to have it on its bottom, against a wall. I have mine located with the switch up.
Q: Does both indicator lights supposed to light up. mine only had grounded light on.
A: Yes both lights on means everything is good. Once one light is off replace the surge protector
