I picked up the Insignia 5.1.2 Channel Home Theater Soundbar from Best Buy and honestly, it’s one of the best affordable sound systems you can get right now. For the price (often well under $200 on sale), this setup blows away most single 2.1 or even some 5.1 soundbars out there — especially if you factor in the included wireless subwoofer and surround speakers. Sound Quality: • The audio is rich and immersive for the price point, with the subwoofer delivering surprisingly solid bass that brings movies and music to life.  • With 5.1.2 channels and support for Dolby Atmos & DTS:X, it really feels like a true surround setup — great for movie nights or gaming sessions. I paid less than $200 for this on sale, at that price, this is a great entry level system that is perfect for our apartment. The sound is clear and compatible with all the formats I need, the bass can get very loud so its not underpowered. Also very easy to set up with minimal wires. One issue I will point out is the audio does drop out kind of frequently. But this is usually easily fixed by skipping backward a few seconds to get the system to do the handshake with your TV again or just backing out and going back into whatever you were watching again. It can be annoying but at this price, some issues are going to have to be dealt with. If you want super smooth operation or more in depth sound control, you'll want an actual sound receiver, but that will cost a whole lot more than $200. So again, at this very low price point, you'll have a hard time finding a surround system with better value, especially if you live in an apartment where you don't need a ton of wattage to fill the room with sound.

I was hesitant going from a Sony soundbar and wireless sub to this but after 13 years it was time to upgrade. This was on sale and had the same features as some much more expensive systems and I gave it a try. Very easy system to setup. Just plug and play. All speakers sync automatically and the settings although minimal are just enough to tune it to my preferences. The soundbar has a a more luxurious feel and its design compliments my Roku Pro Tv. The surround sounds are clear and can get loud which was surprising. The sub has a punch with more than enough power for a moderate to large living room.

This is the solution I was looking for, great sound, easy set up, best of all no wires. The sound from my living room did not travel well, i would have to turn the tv up to a really high volume. Once i purchased and installed this sorround sound it solved that problem. Once the main unit is connted to the tv the subwoofer and other little boxes only requires a power source. This system deliver quality sound and has greatly improved my viewing experience. Even casually playing music from my phone, a great purchase and value for money.

It's pretty easy to use, just make sure you plug the HDMI into the eARC port on your TV (if it has one). This makes it so the TV remote can control the sound bar sound level, and other easy connectivity things (like turning the sound bar on when your TV turns on, and vice versa). The sound quality is pretty good for what you pay for this sound system. It's pretty easy to connect the wireless speakers, they should pair automatically when you plug them in. I do wish that the product had a wider range of bass adjustment settings. I live in an apartment and would sometimes like to turn down the bass to not disturb my neighbors. But it's not too bad.
