- Answer Try going into you TV's Sound Settings and turn ON the CEC Control. And make sure your TV speakers are off.

- Answer Make sure sound bar is aligned with tv remote.(line of sight) Might have to pair again.

QuestionWhen I start up my tv it doesn't automatically choose the sound bar I have tried all the settings and it doesn't automatically choose .I have to manually select any of the audio choices then it works. Also the volume jump's like 4 spots with one click?

QuestionWhile connected to a new Sony XBR55X800G via the HDMI ARC connection, sometimes the voice audio is not sync'd with the lips of the persons in the picture. Is there a setting either in the TV's Sound adjustments or the Soundbar remote to keep this constant

QuestionWhat is the best way to set up a Polk S2 sounder with an older, Mitsubishi WD-73837 tv? It has HDMI but not HDMI ARC and there is no optical output plug. Can this be done?

- Answer It should still work with the HDMI connection. The difference will be that your TV remote will not control the volume. You will need the soundbar's remote for that. A minor inconvenience.

- Answer This should work just fine. The remote actually has a button to adjust voice clarity. I have adjusted voice clarity a couple of times since I bought it and it works well when there is a lot of background noise going on in the show or movie.

- Answer Not to be a broken record but make sure everything is plugged in correctly and if you have the instructions read through them again just to make sure... if you do not find an answer there and they have a tech support number give that a shot and worst case scenario is you may have to return it and get a new one.

QuestionWhat is the wattage of the S2 system . Other systems list their wattage, ie 320 or 340, but this system does not. When it states 2.1 or 3.1, is that the number of speakers on the bar. Does more wattage mean better quality.
