“Tcl 55" series 5 tv with hdmi connection to ARC but not recognizing sound bar and no sound. Also on auto detect it does not recognize Dolby and defaults to PCM stereo. Please help”

Try going into you TV's Sound Settings and turn ON the CEC Control. And make sure your TV speakers are off.
