16 should be fine. I'm using 14 gauge. If your using banana plugs then what ever fits in them.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.While the Polk Audio company doesn't state what size of speaker wire you use. I use 14 gauge speaker wire. I find this size suitable for my application. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.16 gauge wire should be fine for this size speaker as long as the wire run to the speakers isn't excessively long. Not a lot of power needed to run them.
