- Answer The T50 speaker from Polk Audio will work with a desktop computer, but an amplifier or receiver will need to be used to power the T50 speaker, as desktop computers typically do not have such an amplifier built-in. We recommend the T50 speaker be purchased as a pair for stereo sound. They are otherwise sold singularly. - Answer Hello and thank you for your question. In the Denon receiver settings>manual setup>Bass>select LFE+Main. While in the settings, confirm the speaker configuration is set for 5.1. After settings, press sound mode on the remote until Multi CH stereo is displayed. This will help confirm correct settings have been made.

- Answer They are 2 way floor standing speakers. One 1-inch silk dome tweeter, one 6.25-inch extended throw composite driver, and two performance tuned front-firing sub bass radiators. The 2 bass radiators augment the main woofer and produce a well-balanced, natural warm sound.

- Answer Hello, Depends on the shelf radio. As long as the radio has speaker terminals to connect to external speakers. The Polk Audio T50 speakers have a high sensitivity level making them fairly easy to drive.

QuestionI have a Onkyo tx-nr686 that is rated 210 W/Ch (6 ohms, 1 kHz, 10% THD, 1 channel driven) and 8 ohm 100 w/ch. With the full set if the t15 for the rears the t30 for the center and the t50 for the front work without damaging either speakers or receiver?

- Answer You should be fine running all of that. Just check to make sure that the speakers could handle all of that so they don’t blow. Also I would make sure the receiver would have enough air flow so it doesn’t heat up to much. I would be more worried about the speakers blowing though. The receiver should be fine.

- Answer It all depends on the type of sound you are looking for. The bookshelf ones will be better for back surround sound and front right and left speakers. And the floor ones will be better for front surround areas and also will work really good for front left and right speakers.

- Answer These are 2 way with a 1 inch silk-dome tweeter, a 6.25-inch driver and 2 passive radiators that have no wire connected to them and are designed to augment the woofers. These are 6 ohm and is important for your amplifier, as it needs to see some resistance to the power it sends; else it might get burned out by pumping out power continuously.

- Answer its a 2 way bass reflex system.I also have a onkyo receiver rated at 80watts rms.the tx 393 believe me these speakers sound great.I use them as part of my ht system and stand alone for music you'll have no problem with your receiver
