• It's better to hook it up to your receiver then hook your receiver to the TV that's what I did

• No you will need to get a audio receiver to hook up to your TV. Then u just plug in the speakers you have ( including this one) into the receiver. It’s a little costly but in my opinion it’s worth it in the end.

• Hello, the POLK AUDIO T50 speakers will require an amplifier. They are passive speakers. Connect the Samsung TV to a AV receiver/amplifier and connect the Polk Audio T50 to the AV receiver/amplifier.
