A:AnswerYou need a surround receiver to run these. I use an optical cable from the tv to the back of my receiver then 12 guage speaker wire from the receiver to all of my speakers.

I use the polk audio t30, but I believe there is a better version. I can only speak on this one, and it has beautiful sound bro it's more than enough for me. If you buy the whole set with the polk tower speakers, and bookshelf speakers it's even better.
A:AnswerYes it probably can handle the 2 200 watt speakers. If you do have a 7.2 channel receiver though it will probably be able to make between 75-100 watts on it so it just won’t be using the speakers to it’s highest potential. They will still sound really good though. And with the Polk T50 speakers it will handle it I would just recommend not turning it up all the way or it could blow out the speakers.
A:AnswerIt's from 1 year ago so its probably erelivent by now but i know for a 100% fact you can remove the base from the Polk T 50 towers i just did it last night. 4 screws it comes right off. So you can hang the t50 flush on or against a wall i personal ordered individual silver woofer grills for mine and painted the base for both towers silver also they came out nice it breaks the black up . They are great speakers for the price.
A:AnswerIm not sure if the customer is referring to sound or hight. You could definitely add some character to the bases of the T 50 by simply removing 4 screws make your own bases with a hard species of lumber make the bases 5 inches thick if you want pant them it would make the speakers more sturdier or look beefy add hight adjustors the options are endless i took mine of made my own set of bases twice the thickness and added grey claw feet to the bases. The speakers are pretty solid the bases are actually very thin so m ake custom bases abd add 6 pounds to the speakers they'll even sound better.
A:AnswerYes, I have these speaker connected to an older Pioneer 5 by 110watts receiver, and the T30 center channel speaker, with a 100watt sub. This setup sounds great all the speaker compliment each other, and you can hear every sound of you movie, down to the footsteps, doors closing on the side.
Great setup for about 450 bucks.
Good Luck,
