To clarify, the comfort grip is not a controller. You have to attach the 2 joy-con controllers (the colorful small controllers) to this device. Once attached, it can be a controller. In comparison to the Joy-Cons, I prefer the Pro controller. For the same price point, the Pro controller feels more organic in your hands than the JoyCon Comfort Grip. The buttons are smaller so for someone with thicker fingers, you may have trouble with it.

No. This just gives you the ability to hold both controls in one hand vs using a joy con in each hand

Yes. It does. And it has additional 2 button under the grip that you can customized. But i never use them.

Sort of. Instead of having the two stick controllers slide in to form it, the pro controller is one solid controller. It’s cheaper to buy this as it makes the same basic function, just not as one solid controller.
