What kind of surface is it safe to use it on? null

Nonstick surface and yes it’s safe to cook on.

Always operate the appliance on a horizontal surface that is level, stable, and noncombustible. Do not use on a stove top. If you have concerns about your countertop you can use it on top of a silicone heat resistant countertop mat during use.

It is safe on pretty much any hard surface, as long as it is level. I sit mine on top of my kitchen counter. It is really nice
