BigDaddyG We recommend using a surge suppressor that is UL 1449 listed as a transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS) to decrease any risk associated with surges or spikes. The surge suppressor must have a UL suppressed voltage rating of 400 volts or less and a minimum surge dissipation of 450 joules, rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps. The treadmill must also be grounded with a plug containing a grounding pin. The outlet must be on a nominal 120-volt circuit capable of carrying 15 or more amps. Do not plug other high-use electrical devices into the surge suppressor or outlet on the same circuit to avoid overloading. More information on this subject is found on page 17 of the user manual. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m running it off a 15amp and I multiple things plugged into that same outlet. No issues.
