This treadmill model is available on the free app, BILT, which will give you 3D steps to follow to make the assembly as easy as possible.
We recommend two people do this assembly together and the average time is about an hour and a half to assemble successfully. The BILT app also will instruct you on needed tools to have on hand, which will include (in this case) an adjustable wrench, phillips screwdriver, and hex key (included).

We recommend using a surge suppressor that is UL 1449 listed as a transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS) to decrease any risk associated with surges or spikes. The surge suppressor must have a UL suppressed voltage rating of 400 volts or less and a minimum surge dissipation of 450 joules, rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps.
The treadmill must also be grounded with a plug containing a grounding pin. The outlet must be on a nominal 120-volt circuit capable of carrying 15 or more amps. Do not plug other high-use electrical devices into the surge suppressor or outlet on the same circuit to avoid overloading.
More information on this subject is found on page 17 of the user manual. If you have further questions, email us at ce@ProForm.com.

Thanks for reaching out! This treadmill does not require WiFi in order to work. The treadmill can still work in the manual mode without WiFi, but if you are planning to use iFIT, you will need a WiFi connection.
We hope this helps! Feel free to email us at any time if you have further questions. We can be emailed directly at: ce@ProForm.com.

Yes, all iFIT compatible ProForm machines can be used without iFIT membership in manual mode.
The free 30-day trial is available for you to try it out. Once you register, you can log into your iFIT account and go to Settings to manage your iFIT membership by either downgrading or canceling. After canceling, your machine can be controlled manually.
You can also bypass iFIT by hitting “enter without logging in” on the iFIT login window to enter and view the iFIT library without logging in. Doing so will give you access to a limited number of workouts in the library that are unlocked.

A:AnswerThe newer version, listed here, is indeed slightly smaller as we consistently work to create more space for people who need it in their home gyms. The motor size rating (CHP) is measured in a lab, tested with a dynamometer to measure power. The rating does not denote the operational power of a treadmill in ordinary household use. The new model also has a larger touchscreen included on its console.

A:AnswerThe top of the running board is approximately 9.5 inches from the floor when running at a grade of 0 degrees. The treadmill does rise up to a grade of 12 degrees and lowers to a grade of -3 degrees. I have my treadmill in an area of the basement with a ceiling height of 85 inches. Im about 6 ft tall. My head doesn't touch the celing.
