The newer version, listed here, is indeed slightly smaller as we consistently work to create more space for people who need it in their home gyms. The motor size rating (CHP) is measured in a lab, tested with a dynamometer to measure power. The rating does not denote the operational power of a treadmill in ordinary household use. The new model also has a larger touchscreen included on its console.
