With the unit in the position with you facing the front, with the led screen and red power button on top, the cables plug in under the liftable tab on the left side. They are polarized so you can't plug them into the wrong holes. The manual is just simple basic info. It doesn't even tell you how to recharge it or come with a required usb-c and charging block.

I showed it to my Allstate guy and he showed me after it took him a few minutes too. Yes, I charged mine first. I do not think it comes charged.

Please try again later.English, First, connect the jumper cables, then connect them to the battery, first the black cable to the negative terminal and then the red cable to the positive terminal. It doesn't matter if you connect the wrong way around; the device has a safety system, so nothing will happen. Then start the car, disconnect the jumper cables, and you're good to go!
