Yes, this is a tens product and it has truly been life changing for my niece who struggles terribly with fibromyalgia. Based upon her experience and those of my sister who is using the device for hernextrem pain from sciatica I can highly recommend this product!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does seem to have the same stimulation as a TENS unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like TENS units, Quell uses electrical nerve stimulation in order to provide pain relief, but TENS devices range from very low dose devices available over-the-counter to higher powered technology used in a healthcare setting. Quell is up to 10x more powerful than popular OTC (over-the-counter) TENS devices. Quell is powerful enough to stimulate the sensory nerves in the upper calf, which carry neural pulses to the brain. Quell is different because this stimulation triggers the release of the body’s natural pain blockers to deliver relief in your body. Quell is broadly indicated for the relief of chronic pain. We're hearing from patients with a wide variety of chronic pain conditions, including fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis, who have reported experiencing relief with Quell. Everyone is different, even if they have the same underlying condition causing their pain, so we can't tell you definitively whether you will get relief with Quell, but we offer a 60 day money back guarantee so you can try it risk-free.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should definitely try the Quell. It is non-invasive and can only be placed under the knee. l do not see how it couldn't help you with some of your issues. Quell has a great support team and a good return policiy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no, it is not like a tens unit. It is worn only on your lower leg, about 2 inches below the knee, but never on the shin bone. It has to be calibrated, before you use the device the first time, which is easy to do. People with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis (which I have), have been very successful with pain relief. It will not cure you, but it helps with the pain. Some people have more pain relief than others. For me even 30-50% pain relief is a great success. It took me several weeks to feel real relief. But I knew, I had to be patient, and wear the device every day for at least 4 sessions. Now it is not so critical anymore. I do not wear it at night, because it does not feel comfortable for me. I wear it during the day at home, not when I am going somewhere. I have gotten so used to it, that I hardly feel it anymore. This has worked quite well for me. Now if, I do not get to wear it for a day, it is not bad. But I make it a point to wear it again the next day. In other words, I make it a point to wear it whenever I am at home. That has worked well for me so far. The electrodes need to be renewed about every two weeks. That is an extra expense, but well worth it to me. The battery needs to be charged maybe every three to four weeks. The orange light will tell you when it is time to charge. I do not know yet how long that rechargeable battery actually lasts. The good thing is, that you have 90 days to try out the Quell device. But you have to give it time to see whether it will work for you or not. You have to be patient, depending on your situation.
