Hi there, To record a video with your Ray-Ban Meta glasses, you can use either the physical capture button on the right arm of the frame: - Start Recording: Press and hold the button on the right temple. You will hear a beep and the white LED will light up, indicating you are filming. - Stop Recording: Tap the button once. Another beep will sound, and the video will be saved to your glasses Or the hands-free voice commands such as, "Hey Meta, take a video." and, "Hey Meta, stop." once you are done recording. For any further queries don't hesitate to reach out to us via Meta Support, we'd be happy to help!

We completely understand your curiosity about using them in a classroom setting it’s exciting to think about capturing important moments with wearable technology! To clarify, the glasses are designed to record short video clips (up to 3 minutes) and take photos hands-free, which makes them great for personal use like vlogging, travel, or everyday memories. However, when it comes to recording in a classroom or lecture, it’s important to keep in mind that privacy and consent rules apply. Many schools and institutions have policies that restrict or prohibit recording during class sessions to protect both instructors and students. So while the glasses technically can record during class, whether you should use them in that way depends on the rules of your institution and the consent of those around you. We recommend checking with your school or professor before recording to ensure you’re following the appropriate guidelines.
