There is a switch on the cord to mute/unmute the microphone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a small switch on the cord that makes the mic mute. It's very easy to slide on accidentally. I have had problems with RealTek audio manager ( that's built onto the motherboard ) managing different input and output devices. If you use this program, check there. ( try the mic on another device.) Also check your input settings on the individual programs you use. If your webcam has a mic, the PC may be only using the headset mic, but your program still is trying to detect input from your webcam mic. Good luck!
