• Less than 4. With 4 drives it will appear to work for a week or two, then the computer will stop seeing the drives at all

• The ideal setup would be to have one main device in passthrough charging (e.g. that you can keep your USB-C powered laptop topped off at all times using the dock’s built-in feature to charge your system while simultaneously powering all other connected devices.
