How to program a Haier tv to the remote null

None of the given codes in the instruction booklet worked with my tv so I used the option of having the TV find the remote/remote find the TV. The instruction booklet that came with the remote includes directions for doing this. It did take about 3 tries for it to work. The remote works beautifully with my Vizio TV now.
