These remotes are made to work with multiple brands and there are indeed codes programmed for Samsung TV's. Due to TV manufacturer updates and changes, it is tough to guarantee specific model compatibility. If for some reason the direct codes don't work the auto code search is a process where you can search through all the codes stored in the remote to the find the a code for your TV.
