I was told to bring back to best buy. I've never had a problem with returns, neither damaged or just did not need.

Hello Maggie you can do both. Store would probably be your best bet since you can immediately return it. Especially if you purchased it during the holidays. The last day for holiday returns is jan 15 or 17. Anything not purchased during holiday season prior only 15 day return period. I only know Cuz i had to exchange a black friday tv.

Yes, I believe within 15 days of purchase. However, you shouldn't have to return as it works fine.
