Yes, the second one I bought works well in my man cave that's in our basement.

Using an over-the-air (OTA) antenna in a basement may result in weak signal reception due to obstructions and the difficulty of those signals to pass through the earth. To improve chances for reception, try placing the antenna near a window or higher up in your dwelling.
